Following yesterday’s news that Sony is taking Concord offline later this week, players are determined to grind for the Platinum Trophy by throwing themselves off cliffs in-game.
Why, you might ask? Well, in order to nab that shiny Platinum, you need to acquire a whopping Reputation level 100, which requires hundreds of thousands of XP. The quickest way to do this is to fire up Rivalry matches and running off the edge of the map, giving the opposing team the win. Both teams are awarded XP however, and you get more in Rivalry matches than other game modes.

As such, players are throwing Rivalry matches and grinding XP in quick succession, as providing everyone is willing to participate, you can simply jump off the map and end a round in about 30 seconds and bring a match to a close in just a few minutes. Without a few days to go until Concord is shuttered, it’s the best way to try and earn the Platinum.
Concord launched on August 23 on PS5 and PC but was met with dismal player numbers and lukewarm reviews, and it remains unknown if the game will be coming back, although there’s a chance Sony make reposition it as a F2P title.
