As we move on down the table, Diablo 4 and The First Descedant have made decent recoveries, following various updates, whereas Star Wars Outlaws sits in 19th. The “first-ever” Star Wars open-world game released on August 27 for those who stumped up the cash for the premium editions and then in full on August 30. Considering the majority of players picked up the game after its full release, which was only four days ago, we expect more will be checking out the game this week, and Outlaws will continue to climb up the table.
The game that has lost the most positions on our chart this week is Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Last week, Crash was sitting pretty in 14th, but now it seems a lot of players have turned their back on the orange bandicoot, and the platformer has slipped ten places to 24th. In 25th place, Core Keeper made its debut in the chart after releasing on Xbox and PC and joining Game Pass as a day-one title.
At the bottom, not much has happened other than Fallout 76, Microsoft Solitaire Collection, and Baldur’s Gate 3, all reentering the chart.
Top 40 Xbox Gameplay Chart for the week ending September 1, 2024
Loads of new Xbox games are on the way next week, so we’re expecting a bit of a shake-up in the chart. Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, Age of Mythology: Retold, Star Trucker, The Casting of Frank Stone, and NBA 2K25 are all on the docket for next week. We’ve also got Expeditions: A MudRunner Game rolling onto Game Pass on September 5, so anything could happen.
