Honkai Star Rail’s first anniversary is here and the new Cosmodyssey event is where Trailblazers can earn all of their free anniversary rewards like Stellar Jades and enhancement materials. Hoyoverse is giving out a ton of free stuff, so make sure you log in and participate in the event while you can.
Honkai Star Rail Anniversary Event Schedule
The Cosmodyssey anniversary event kicked off with the launch of Honkai Star Rail version 2.1 “Into the Yawning Chasm.” It’ll last until the next big Honkai Star Rail update, so you have until Monday, May 6 to earn all of the rewards. The event is time-gated since you only get a certain number of dice per day that allow you to move around the game board, so log in often to make the most of your daily refreshes.
How to Earn Stellar Jades in Cosmodyssey
The main way to earn Stellar Jades in the Cosmodyssey event is to gain Trailblaze Funds by moving around the board and completing encounters. Depending on the space that you land on, you can spin a slot machine, roll dice to resolve situations with the Astral Express crew, or play short minigames. Everything you do in Cosmodyssey will net you Trailblaze Funds, and you can get buffs and items on the board that will increase your earnings.
Completing encounters, rolling the dice, and purchasing Land Tiles will earn you enhancement materials like Starfire Essences (useful for building characters like Acheron), Lost Crystals, Traveler’s Guides, Credits, and more. Basically, just play the board game every day and you’ll be showered with free stuff. It’s that simple.
In addition, Cosmodyssey also features a version of Assignments that let you send out characters for a certain number of turns instead of real-life time. These are different from normal Assignments and will only get you Trailblaze Funds, not enhancement materials. If you land on an Assignment space after rolling the dice, Pom Pom will ask you some easy trivia questions about Honkai Star Rail’s cast to determine the best choices for the Assignment team.
Finally, there’s a Trailblaze Affinity survey that you can take every day to determine which Honkai Star Rail character you’re the most similar to. It’s a fun little personality quiz, and answering all 50 questions throughout the event period will net you a few Stellar Jades as a bonus reward.
How to Raise Contribution Level in Cosmodyssey
As you play Cosmodyssey, you’ll increase your Cosmic Contribution level over time. You have both a personal Cosmic Contribution score as well as an overall community Cosmic Contribution score that will both lead to free rewards. As you reach certain Trailblaze Fund milestones, you’ll get Stellar Jades. When the Honkai Star Rail community accumulates enough Trailblaze Funds overall to reach certain milestones, you’ll get even more Stellar Jades.
You can keep track of your Trailblaze Funds every day after playing Cosmodyssey. The meter is already filling up fast on the community side, so expect to see some Stellar Jades heading your way really soon. It only takes a few days to earn enough Trailblaze Funds to make a serious dent in the event rewards, too.
