Harold Halibut looks utterly unique. It’s handmade with stop-motion aesthetics, and is all about the people aboard a spaceship which is stuck under the sea on an alien planet. We play as Harold, an assistant to the ship’s primary scientist, and our initial goal is to keep working on a plan to escape and find a better, permanent home. However, a “fateful encounter plunges Harold into a world no one could have imagined,” and things spiral from there… It’s clear the ship’s inhabitants and daily life are important to Harold Halibut, and this looks to be reflected in the achievements: there are achievements for taking part in the “station jog,” listening to gossip, and generally immersing yourself into life aboard the ship. Interestingly, there’s one achievement — “Slow Bro” — which requires you to have more than 15 hours of playtime, so factor that into your completion plans.
