Sea of Thieves sails past 5,000 Gamerscore with new Season 11 Xbox achievements

Season 11 sets sail in Sea of Thieves today, adding six new achievements worth a total of 240 Gamerscore to unlock. The new Sea of Thieves achievements added with this title update mean that the multiplayer adventure game joins the likes of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Elder Scrolls Online, Train Sim World 2, and Cruz Brothers in surpassing a total of 5,000 Gamerscore.

Of course, only players who have managed to unlock all of the discontinued Arena achievements before the mode was pulled from the game will actually be able to earn the full 5,210 Gamerscore Sea of Thieves now offers. If you didn’t unlock any of the 11 discontinued and 2 partly discontinued Arena achievements, the maximum amount of Gamerscore you can earn is actually 4,845G.

The new achievements added with Season 11 all look pretty straightforward and mainly focus on using the new fast travel mechanic to complete voyages, though one does ask you to earn a Distinction (reach level 100) with a Trading Company.

Rare has also said it will be updating voyage-related achievements with this update to stop them from becoming discontinued.
