Genshin Impact: How to craft potions for special orders in Alchemical Ascension
During this event, you’ll be tasked with growing ingredients, using them to brew potions, and selling your potions according to the Market News. But apart from the usual demands of customers, you’ll occasionally be visited by familiar characters asking for specific potions. We’ll help you figure out how to craft all special order potions for the Genshin Impact Alchemical Ascension event.
Phase 1 – Beidou and Eula
During cycles 8-10, you’ll be visited by Beidou and Eula. Beidou is asking for “A Potion with Constitution efficacy or that displays Relaxing characteristics.” By this point in your potion shop journey, you’ll have the means of brewing Intermediate potions, so you’ll want to aim for an Intermediate Constitution Potion.
To get this exact recipe right, you’ll want to follow a similar setup here. Remember, you need to fit the ingredients like puzzle pieces to get the most bang for your buck. You can also stack two ingredients together on one square only, so take advantage of that. Here’s what mine looked like:
- x2 Special Sweet Flower (Constitution/Strengthening)
- x2 Special Dandelion (Dexterity/Relaxing)
- x2 Special Calla Lily (Constitution/Steadying)
- Recommended additions: x3 Special Mushroom (Balanced/Endurance)
Although I didn’t end up adding the Special Mushrooms, they only take up two squares, and with my configuration, you’d be able to slip in three. That would increase your Tuning Rate even further, giving you a higher-quality potion.
I placed it inside an Angeled Drop Bottle, then received an Intermediate Constitution Potion +2 with Strengthening and Relaxing efficacies. After crafting this potion, head back to Beidou, and she’ll be pleased to see her potion. You should receive a large sum of money for your efforts.
Phase 2 – Diona and Venti
During Cycles 14-16, you’ll be visited by Diona and Venti. Diona is looking for “A Potion with Wisdom efficacy or that displays Steadying characteristics”, which can be easily done by creating an Intermediate Constitution and Wisdom Potion.
This was the layout I used for this special order. At this point, I was allowed to overlap two squares at a time, giving me a lot more room to stuff ingredients. Here are all the ingredients I used:
- x4 Special Calla Lily (Constitution/Steadying)
- x3 Special Windwheel Aster (Wisdom/Technique)
- x2 Special Qingxin (Wisdom/Healing)
I placed it inside a Heartstopping Heart Bottle, and put a newly purchased Windwheel Aster’s Aroma on it. This earned me an Intermediate Constitution & Wisdom Potion +7. This was a success with Diona, and I received a good amount of funds as a reward.
Phase 2 – Diluc
The final special customer of Phase 2 is Diluc, who arrives during Cycle 18 and is looking for “A Potion with Constitution and Wisdom efficacy or that displays Focus and Relaxing characteristics”. You can choose either, but I decided to create an Intermediate Constitution & Wisdom Potion.
To create a potion with Focus and Relaxing characteristics, you can use ingredients such as the Special Zaytun Peach or the Special Berry. But if you want a layout like the above for a Constitution & Wisdom Potion, here are the required ingredients:
- x3 Special Qingxin (Wisdom/Healing)
- x2 Special Calla Lily (Constitution/Steadying)
- x2 Special Mushroom (Balanced/Endurance)
- x1 Special Sweet Flower (Constitution/Strengthening)
- x1 Special Windwheel Aster (Wisdom/Technique)
- x1 Special Violetgrass (Constitution/Fragrant)
This came out as an Intermediate Constitution & Wisdom Potion +10 after I placed it in an Angled Drop Bottle and put a Resplendent as a Crystalfly accessory. Diluc seemed to enjoy it, as he gave me 65,000 funds for my shop.
If you keep up with selling potions like this, you’ll eventually be able to earn the Dialogues of the Desert Sages polearm for free!
