Redacted Xbox achievements scan in for new game from Callisto Protocol devs

The Callisto Protocol devs Striking Distance Studios have shared a lot of news for their new game: formerly known as Project Birdseye, it’s now been revealed as an isometric action roguelike, and not only that, but the Redacted Xbox Series X|S achievements have now been revealed. Lastly, we’ll be able to jump into the Redacted achievements later this year, as the game launches on October 31. Check out the trailer below…Redacted is set in the Callisto Protocol universe and has you play as a prison guard working in Black Iron prison on Callisto, with the challenge of surviving long enough to escape the moon. The prison’s inmates are infected and everybody’s fighting to escape, since apparently only one person can leave. “As one of the last guards, fight through monsters, rivals, and reanimated corpses of your fellow guards to escape the penitentiary alive.”

With that goal in mind, the achievements could present a challenge, since you’ll need to face a boss and escape a biome without taking any damage. You’ll also need to complete a run in less than 20 minutes, complete a run without spending currency, and make it through 11 rooms without dashing. Striking Distance Studios’ The Callisto Protocol, meanwhile, is available with Xbox Game Pass, and The Callisto Protocol director recently discussed cut content and being pushed to launch the game early amidst staffing issues and resulting development issues.
