IGN has published a brand new Star Wars Outlaws gameplay video, which offers a look at one of the game’s side quests that involves Kay tracking down a Sarlacc and exploring inside the creature.
For those who aren’t up on their Star Wars lore, The Sarlacc first appeared in Star Wars Return of the Jedi from 1983, and is an alien species featuring multiple tentacles, razor-sharp teeth and a gaping maw. The creature has made numerous appearances since, but is probably best remembered for appearing in the fight between Luke Skywalker and Jabba the Hutt’s forces in the deserts of Tatooine.

Star Wars Outlaws is pencilled in for release on August 30, 2024 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. Ubisoft Massive recently addressed concerns about adopting the company’s ‘house style’ open world for the game, noting that Massive’s efforts have always been different in this respect when compared to Ubisoft’s other franchises such as Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry.
